Receipt photos
Photos are read in your device’s browser and are not uploaded to the project database. Reading software and language data are downloaded from the site.
Saved bills
Saving a bill stores participant names, items, amounts, currency and assignments online so it can be shared. Use first names or nicknames; do not enter payment details or sensitive information.
Links and deletion
Anyone with the bill link can view, edit or delete it. Access expires 7 days after creation. Expired data is removed during the next automatic cleanup cycle, which may happen later. You can delete it immediately using “Elimina conto salvato” in the app.
Browser and hosting
Daily aggregate usage counts are collected without analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers; file contents and bill details are never sent to these statistics. Your browser may store installation and image-reading resources. The hosting provider may process technical data, including IP addresses and access logs, to operate and secure the service.
PayPal
The support button opens PayPal. The app does not collect card details or transfer money between diners. Contributions are optional and subject to PayPal’s terms and privacy notice.
Early version
Always check the recognised items and total. Currency selection does not convert amounts. The service may change and has not been validated with every receipt type or device.
